HFMA Call for Speakers
Share Your Expertise. Shape the Future of Healthcare Finance.
HFMA’s national conferences are the cornerstone of our thought leadership and professional development strategy. Each convenes a unique audience, but together they shape the dialogue across healthcare finance, bringing volunteer leaders, revenue cycle professionals, providers, and business partners together to solve the industry’s toughest challenges.
Proposals should be tailored to the unique audience of each event. HFMA prioritizes innovative, practical, and provider-focused perspectives that advance the profession and empower our members to solve and lead change.

Tips for Submitting a Winning Proposal
-
Focus on real-world solutions. Share proven strategies, case studies, or lessons learned—not just theory. HFMA audiences value insights they can apply immediately.
 -
Address urgent challenges. Frame your session around the issues keeping healthcare finance leaders up at night: changing legislation, workforce shortages, shrinking margins, denials, or system inefficiencies.
 -
Engage the audience. Proposals that include interaction (polls, Q&A, panel discussions, or workshops) stand out because they create memorable learning experiences.
 -
Show measurable impact. Back up your story with data, outcomes, or ROI to demonstrate that your approach delivers results.
 -
Collaborate for diverse perspectives. Submissions featuring provider voices, multi-disciplinary teams, or cross-organization collaboration often resonate more strongly with attendees.
